Boxing

Janjira Boxing program is managed by Master trainer Coach David Krapes, and World Lightweight IBF Champion Rafael Ruelas. Boxing dates back to Ancient Greece 688 BC as an Olympic game. The sport involves using the four main punches: jab, cross, hook, and uppercut. The two different stances are orthodox (lead left) and southpaw (lead right). Defensive movements include a variety of footwork, head movement, and blocking. Janjira offers two classes a beginners class Monday through Fridays at 5:00 pm and the advanced Boxing program on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 pm run by Legend IBF Lightweight Champion Rafael Ruelas.
